The United States is mourning the loss of 35-year-old Captain Cody A. Captain Khork dedicated much of his life to military service. He enlisted in the National Guard in 2009 and later commissioned as a Military Police officer in the Army Reserve in 2014. Throughout his career, he served his country with pride and commitment, always ready to answer the call of duty.<\/p>\n
During his years of service, Captain Khork deployed to several important missions around the world, including Saudi Arabia in 2018, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in 2021, and Poland in 2024. He served with the 103rd Sustainment Command, a unit responsible for critical logistical support such as food, fuel, water, transportation equipment, and supplies for U.S. forces.<\/p>\n
Originally from Winter Haven, Florida, Khork graduated from Lake Region High School before continuing his studies at Florida Southern College, where he earned his degree in 2014. Friends and fellow soldiers remember him as someone who could light up any room with his humor and positive spirit.<\/p>\n
