Born in Cisco, Texas in 1938, Crofts developed an early passion for music, learning multiple instruments including drums, guitar, and mandolin. Together, Seals & Crofts rose to fame in the early 1970s, blending soft rock, folk, and spiritual influences into a unique sound. Their breakthrough came with the album Summer Breeze, which produced hit singles like “Summer Breeze” and helped them reach millions of listeners worldwide.
