Victoria Jones, the 34-year-old daughter of Oscar-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones, was found dead in a hotel room at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco early on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2026. The San Francisco Fire Department responded to a medical emergency call at about 2:52 a.m., and the San Francisco Police Department later reported officers arrived around 3:14 a.m. to find the woman already deceased. The case was turned over to the San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the exact cause and manner of death. Police are investigating, and no foul play has been reported at this stage.
Victoria was born on September 3, 1991, to Tommy Lee Jones and his then-wife Kimberlea Cloughley, and she had a few acting roles as a child. She appeared in Men in Black II (2002), had a guest appearance on the TV series One Tree Hill (2003), and appeared in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005), a film directed by her father. In recent years she stepped back from acting but occasionally appeared publicly with her father at events.
Tommy Lee Jones, a 79-year-old Academy Award-winning actor known for films such as The Fugitive, No Country for Old Men, Lincoln and the Men in Black franchise, has not yet issued a public statement about his daughter’s death.
